Julie is the mother of 4 beautiful children one boy and three girls (ages 7, 5, 2, and 8 mos). She also is a clinical child psychologist working part-time and staying home the rest of the time. When her son was born, she still worked full-time and juggled child-care with the help of the children’s grandmothers. She knows just how difficult it is to find good, reliable, safe childcare – particularly for infants. As the other children were born, Julie consistently needed a regular sitter in her home, and struggled to find new sitters each time a favorite sitter moved or graduated or started full-time work. This led her to start looking for more permanent and safe solutions for childcare and after three years of searching, led her to SeekingSitters. Now with 4 children in the home, Jay and Julie want to focus on providing a safe, supportive, creative and spiritual environment for their children.
Julie continues to work part-time while starting the franchise and Jay works full-time as the creative director for a web design company in town. The family enjoys traveling together, going to the drive-in movie, and eating family meals together. Julie is a very busy, active mother who enjoys going to the children’s activities, scrapbooking, meeting with her book club, and fellowshipping with friends.
